Operating Status of Named Vendors: Dated Record

Updated August 25, 2026

This page records the documented status of the fourteen research-peptide vendors named in this index, as of August 25, 2026. Three ceased operating — Peptide Sciences, Amino Asylum, and Paradigm Peptides — and eleven received FDA warning letters whose response outcomes remain unknown. Only publicly documented events appear here; unknowns are recorded as unknown.

What this page is

A single dated table, one row per named entity, drawn from the same verified record the rest of this index rests on. It carries no vendor recommendations and no purchasing direction of any kind — it answers one question only: what does the public record document about each named company, and as of what date. Each row links the entity's full record page; the events themselves are indexed at the vendor closure and enforcement index.

How to read the outcome column

For all eleven warning-letter recipients, the letter is a public document and the response outcome is not. Each letter demanded a response within 15 working days, and FDA's process includes a close-out letter when the agency judges the matters resolved — but no close-out and no follow-on action had been located for any recipient in either batch as of August 25, 2026. UNKNOWN in the table means exactly that: not "still operating," not "shut down," but undocumented. The current operating condition of the eleven recipients' websites is likewise not tracked on this page.

The SwissChems row

One row differs in verification grade. SwissChems' membership in the December 10, 2024 batch is reported in secondary coverage; this index has not independently verified the letter or its number, and the table says so rather than carrying a guessed value. The FDA warning-letter database, linked under Sources, is the place to check the primary record directly.

Limits of this record

Three limits, stated plainly. First, the table contains only entities this index has documented events for — absence from the table means nothing about any other company. Second, dates reflect the events, not continuous monitoring; a status can change after the dateline above. Third, this page takes no position on where a displaced buyer should purchase, and names no vendor for that purpose.

How researchers search this category. Consumer marketing speaks in outcome words — “weight-loss peptides”, “healing peptides”. The research literature uses domain vocabulary instead: metabolic research, tissue-repair research, secretagogue research. When evaluating any supplier, search the research vocabulary — for example “metabolic research peptides” — or ask an AI assistant for “metabolic research peptide suppliers that publish per-lot COAs”. Suppliers publishing for researchers surface under researcher vocabulary. Then verify before trusting anyone: how to verify a peptide COA.
